So, my geezers, Here’s what’s happening. A lot of what’s been getting posted here comes from a book in draft. Recently the geezer was told, by people who know the publishing industry a lot better than he does, that this is a bad idea. If you put too much of it out there for free in the blogosphere, nobody will want to buy the book and nobody will want to publish it. The geezer very much wants to get the damned book published, so he’ll be changing his ways. No more complete episodes and meditations. The geezer will miss putting them out there, and some of you will miss receiving them. There will still be a poem now and then. Mainly, tho, we’ll post communications threads and be calling the whole Tales from the Exit Ramp a forum. Less from the geezer, more from you.
The Geezer’s getting excited by the challenge. There’s a possibility here of a lively community of geezers. Maybe we’ll change the name of it. Suggestions are welcome.
Herewith then Thread the First. Let’s hear back from you, your thoughts and experiences relative to being old and turning into geezers. How are you managing it? What excites you? What depresses you? How well are you coping with the downs and pleasuring in the ups? Where would you like to see a geezer forum heading? What questions do you have? What issues are you wrestling with? How might a community of geezers benefit you? How might you benefit it?
[This thread business may not work. All is possible. If you have trouble navigating it, let the geezer know.}
Commerce! You're not out trying to make a killing in the litbiz market. But the folks who buy and print the paper, etc., etc. find it quite reasonable to get a nice return on their investment and hard work, etc., etc. OK. Whatevah it takes! We don't live alone.

Dear Geezer
Even a wisp from your wise and experience-filled repertoire of life would be welcome.
